Christopher Reeve’s children are honoring their father's legacy with a new documentary that celebrates his life and impact on disability rights advocacy.

The film, titled "Christopher Reeve: Unflinching," features interviews with Reeve's children, Matthew and Alexandra, who share personal stories and insights about their father's life behind closed doors. The documentary also explores the challenges Reeve faced as a quadriplegic following a horse-riding accident in 1995 and his subsequent advocacy for people with disabilities.

According to Variety, which debuted an exclusive clip from the documentary, Reeve's children describe their father as a "realist" who didn't shy away from discussing the difficulties he faced. "He was very open about his struggles," Matthew says in the clip. "He didn't hide them."

The documentary features interviews with other notable figures, including Reeve's close friend and fellow actor Christopher Reeve, who speaks about Reeve's unwavering determination and his impact on the disability rights movement.

Reeve's children hope that the documentary will inspire others to embrace life's challenges with the same courage and determination that their father displayed. "He taught us that you can't give up," Alexandra says in the Variety clip. "You have to keep fighting."
